Orchard Peach Pie

Serving Size: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz. each) of DEL MONTE® Lite Yellow Cling Sliced Peaches
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • Sugar, to taste
  • 2 refrigerate pie crusts (9-inch)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. Drain fruit serving 1 cup syrup.
  2. Dissolve cornstarch in syrup in saucepan. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar, to taste. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and translucent. Stir in fruit.
  3. Prepare pie crusts. Place bottom crust in pie plate and spoon in fruit mixture. Place top crust over fruit; seal and flute edges. Make slits in top crust for venting.
  4. Bake on lower oven rack, 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with vanilla Ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
