Stuffed Pizza Snacks

Serving Size: 16 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 (10.6 ounce) refrigerated bread sticks
  • 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella & Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (15 ounce) can Red Gold® Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • 1½ ounces sliced or diced pepperoni
  • ½ cup shredded Swiss cheese

       

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 350o F. Unroll dough and divide into 2 sections along center perforation. Press each into an 8 inch square. Place 1 square on a cookie sheet. In a bowl combine mozzarella & Parmesan cheese, oregano, egg, ½ can of Red Gold® Crushed Tomatoes and Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes; beat well.  

Spread over dough on cookie sheet to within ½ inch of edge. Top with pepperoni and Swiss cheese. Top with remaining dough; press edges to seal. Spread the container of spread form bread sticks package over dough. 
 
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into 4 stripes, then 7 diagonal stripes to form diamond-shaped pieces. Serve snack with remaining Red Gold Crushed Tomatoes.
