Herb Chicken Breader


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Indian Head Corn Meal
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼teaspoon oregano
  • ¼teaspoon rosemary (optional)
  • 2-3 pounds cut up chicken pieces
  • Milk

Cooking Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F

2. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, missing together until uniform.

3. Dip chicken pieces in milk, then coat with breader. 

4. Place coasted chicken on a shallow baking pan and bake 40-50 minutes.      

Coats 2-3 pounds of chicken.

Hint: the breader and ‘milk dipped’ chicken may be placed in a plastic bag and tumbled until the chicken is coated evenly.
