Orange Peel Ornaments

As you may know, November is Bravo's Produce of the Month is Orange! Sticking to the theme, did you know that you can use orange peels to make your own Christmas ornaments? Check out this quick and simple recipe for your own orange peel ornaments from This Healthy Table.
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Active Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 large orange
- twine or ribbon
Directions:
- Peel the orange, by cutting off both ends and running a knife from end to end. Carefully pull the peel off, trying to keep it as intact as possible. Cut it into two to three pieces.
- Using a small cookie cutter, cut out shapes from the peel.
- With a metal pin or end of a knife, create holes in the top of each orange peel cutout.
- Cut twine or ribbon and thread it through the holes in the cutouts. Tie it to complete the ornament!
